Welcome to Pdfino! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pdfino mobile application ("App") and related services. By downloading, installing, or using Pdfino, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pdfino, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pdfino provides file compression services including:

• PDF document compression and optimization
• Video file compression and format conversion
• Image compression and optimization
• File management and organization tools

The App processes files locally on your device to reduce file sizes while maintaining quality.

3. User Accounts and Subscriptions

Pdfino offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Access to basic compression features with limitations on file count and size
• Premium Subscription: Unlimited access to all features, advanced compression options, and no advertisements

Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.

Refund Policy: All subscription fees are processed and managed by Apple. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple according to their refund policies. To request a refund:

• Sign in with your Apple ID
• Find your Pdfino purchase
• Click "Report a Problem" and follow the steps
• Or go to Settings → [Your Name] → Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History → find Pdfino → Report a Problem

We cannot process refunds directly as all payments are handled by Apple. For refund questions, please contact Apple Support.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not compress files containing illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Not use the App to distribute malware or harmful software
• Maintain the security of your device and account
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and international laws

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Pdfino and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Pdfino, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• File compression will meet your specific requirements
• Compressed files will maintain perfect quality
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating systems

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, files, or content
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Damage resulting from file compression or quality loss

You are solely responsible for backing up your original files before compression.

9. File Backup Responsibility

While Pdfino strives to provide high-quality compression, you acknowledge that:

• Compression may result in quality loss
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of original files
• We are not liable for any loss or corruption of files
• Compressed files should be verified before deleting originals

10. Subscription and Payment Terms

Auto-Renewal: Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How to Cancel Your Subscription:

You can cancel your Pdfino Premium subscription at any time. Follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your name at the top of the screen
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Find and tap Pdfino in the list
5. Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom
6. Confirm cancellation

Important: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have premium access until the end of the period you've already paid for. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Alternative Method: You can also cancel through the App Store:

1. Open the App Store app
2. Tap your profile icon in the top right
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select Pdfino and tap Cancel Subscription

Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with advance notice. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect, and you can cancel if you don't agree to the new pricing.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service
• Non-payment of subscription fees

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Third-Party Services

Pdfino may integrate with third-party services (such as cloud storage providers). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

15. App Store Requirements

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. In case of conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall prevail.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pdfino regarding the use of the App.
